Beyonce Giselle Knowles was born on
September 4, 1981 in Houston, Texas. Tina Knowles, her mom, designs the
glittering costumes, as does Mathew Knowles, Destiny's child's manager. Solange
and her sister (4 years apart) has released her first album. She dances with

Her ancestors include African as well as French and have ancestors in Louisiana
as well as Canada. Beyonce also descends 1/32 Irish, and her maternal line is
distant Breton-, Spanish-, Indonesian- and Chinese roots. According to some, she
created a stage persona called "Sasha" in order to conquer her
shyness.
