Evan Rachel Wood was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, on the 7th of September, 1987. Her father, Ira David Wood III (a actor in the theatre writer, director, and actor) is her father. Sara Wood Wood is her mother, as well as an actress. Her brothers who are older than her are Dana Wood, a musician and Ira David Wood IV who also have been actors. Evan and her brothers sometimes were on stage at Theatre In The Park in Raleigh where her father established and where he is the executive director.
