Will Ferrell
Will Ferrell
was a member of the cast of Saturday Night Live before going into the big
screen to play comedy like 'Elf "Anchorman," and Talladega Nights.
Will Ferrell was born in Irvine, California in 1967. He began his comedy career
by playing an actor for the Los Angeles-based improv group known as the
Groundlings. He was a Saturday Night Live cast member for seven years and
became an important comedic attraction through off-color films, like Old School
2003 and Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy 2004. Ferrell co-founded Funny
or Die, a popular website for streaming videos. Ferrell also had successes as
an actor voiceover in animated films , such as Megamind (2010). John William
Ferrell, born July 16, 1967 in Irvine, California. Will Ferrell is the oldest
child of Righteous Brothers keyboardist Lee Ferrell (and Kay Ferrell), but he
wasn't the class clown while he was at University High School. A quiet and
solitary person, Ferrell decided to leave his mark on the football pitch which is
where he established records for school records for the number of field goals
scored. Even within the more secluded confines of his suburban home, Ferrell
displayed little of the outrageous, funny expressions that would later to
define his career. In an interview with Esquire his mother, she said that
Ferrell was "very well-behaved, very easy-going." "You have any
memories of those Matchbox automobiles?" Will arrange his Matchbox cars on
his own and be utterly content. You could say, "You want to go to Disneyland
today?" It's a hard discussion for him to think about. Ferrell was not an
ideal straight man but that's certainly not to say that he wasn't. The hints of
his comic skills showed up each morning at high school, when he would disguise
his voice to announce the school's daily events on the PA system. Ferrell
received his degree from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles in
1986. He was a member of Delta Tau fraternity, and went on to pursue a degree
in sports journalism.
