Annie Wersching Bio

 Annie Wersching, born March 28 1977 is an American actress best known for her role in 24 as well as the voice work that she provided for Tess in Naughty Dog's game The Last of Us. Wersching was born in St. Louis. She went to the high school of Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis which she graduated from in 1995. When she was a teenager she competed as an Irish dancer and part of the St. Louis Celtic stepdancers. Millikin University gave her a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, which she earned in 1999. Wersching started her acting career with appearances on the show Star Trek: Enterprise, then went on to play appearing as a guest in shows such as Charmed, Killer Instinct, Supernatural as well as Cold Case. From March 2007 through November 2007 she had in the role of Amelia Joffe on ABC Daytime's soap series General Hospital. She has also worked in theaters such as Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire, as well as the Utah Shakespearean Festival.Wersching was FBI Special Agent Renee Walker in the seventh and eighth seasons of 24.After her two-season time in 24, Wersching played guest roles on a variety of shows that included CSI, NCIS, Rizzoli and Isles, Hawaii Five-0, Body of Proof, Dallas, Revolution, Castle, Blue Bloods, The Vampire Diaries and Touch (which has her 24 co-star Kiefer Sutherland). She was also a regular on Bosch, an Amazon Prime crime-show Bosch in 2014. Wersching played catcher for the National League in the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game.In December 2012, it was revealed that, in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us Wersching played the voice actor and mo-cap of the character Tess. Her character was teased on Geoff Keighley's account on Twitter before she was shown in the trailer for the story shown on Spike Video Game Awards on December 7, 2012.In September 2021, it was revealed that Wersching was to play the role of the Borg Queen in the second season of Star Trek: Picard.
